Construction Supervisor Training offers an exam preparation course for the Contractor Supervisor License (CSL) of MA four times a year at various locations throughout the State of Massachusetts. When you register with us, we will offer you our Nail it Guarantee!
- Classes meet once a week for seven (7) weeks.
- Each class location will meet on the same day of the week for the entire seven (7) weeks.
- Class start times will vary by location.
- Each of the seven-week classes will be 3.5 hours per night for a total of 24.5 hours total

We offer the UNRESTRICTED Construction Supervisor License (CSL) Exam Preparation Course.
What and Who IsThe Unrestricted CSL For?
Thie Unrestricted CSL is for those who wish to be licensed for construction, reconstruction, alteration, repair, removal, or demolition involving any activity regulated by the code for:
- 35,000 cubic foot enclosed spaces.
- One- and two-family dwellings or any accessory building thereto, irrespective of size.
- Buildings used for farm purposes.
- Retaining walls less than 10 feet in height at all points along the wall as measured from the base of the footing to the top of the wall.
- This license includes all of the Specialty Licenses
Required Experience to Take the Unrestricted CSL Exam
- You must have three years of full-time construction or design experience to qualify to take the state exam.

Course Cost and Required Books
- The cost of our course is a $525 registration fee.
- This course requires the following six (6) up-date- Building Code books: ALL ARE NEEDED FOR THIS COURSE
- 2015 International Building Code (IBC) – $140.00
- 9th Edition Amendment to IBC – $25.00
- 2015 International Residential Code (IRC) – $140.00
- 9th Edition Amendment to IRC – $20.00
- 2015 International Energy Conservation Code (IECC) – $50.00
- 2006 Architectural Access Code – $25.00
- If you need some or all of these books, you can purchase them when you register for class.
- Books will be handed out the first night of class.
- All six books total=$400/ Course with books is: $925
If You’re Not Purchasing Books
- Please make sure to bring your books with you the first night of class.
- Additionally, please check to make sure your books are the correct edition.

- Please Note: If you are using three ring binder code books, you will not qualify for our guarantee. You must have soft cover bound books.
Payment Options
- Online Payment: Pay online with a credit or debit card
- Mail-in Registration: If you choose the “mail-in” registration option (one-time payment) when you sign up, your payment (check) must be received within two (2) weeks before the start of class.
- Mail-in Registration: If you choose the “mail-in” registration option (payment plan) when you sign up, your FIRST payment (check) must be received within two (2) weeks before the start of class.
- Payment Plan: The payment plan is based on 3 installments. Your first is due 2 weeks before the start of class and is 50% of your total owed. Your next two payments are due the first (1st) and second (2nd) week of class and are the remaining 25% and 25% of the total you owe. Your payments will be calculated when your register based on the total amount you owe.
- Mass Rehab or Workers Comp Insurance Providers: This payment option is for those with a Mass Rehab Counselor or Workers Comp Claim Advisor. Please Note: A counselor or advisor will need to email a completed registration form along with a purchase order or letter of intent in order to complete the registration process.
- Repeats: If you have JUST previously taken our course and qualify for our guarantee, please contact us by either phone or email to complete your new registration as a REPEAT.
