One- and two-family dwellings or any accessory building thereto, irrespective of size.<br \/>\n3. Buildings used for farm purposes.<br \/>\n4. Retaining walls less than 10 feet in height at all points along the wall as measured from the base of the footing to the top of the wall.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><em><strong>The unrestricted CSL covers all of the licenses listed below.<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Restricted Construction Supervisors License<\/strong><br \/>\nCovers construction, reconstruction, alteration, repair, removal, or demolition involving any activity regulated by the code for:<br \/>\nOne- and two-family dwelling and accessory buildings thereto, irrespective of size.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><em><strong>The restricted CSL covers all of the licenses listed below.<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Masonry Only CSL<\/strong><br \/>\nCovers construction, reconstruction, alteration, repair, removal or demolition involving the elements of:<br \/>\n1.\u00a0 fireplaces, chimneys, required means of egress stairs of masonry<br \/>\n2.\u00a0 masonry retaining walls deemed to be a threat to public safety, health or welfare and that retain four feet or more of unbalanced fill<br \/>\n3. other masonry structures for which a building permit is required, so long as such is not governed by construction control provisions of the Massachusetts Basic Building Code.<br \/>\nA masonry only license is not sufficient for the construction of masonry buildings.\u00a0 Supervision of such work would require possession of at least a restricted construction supervisor license, dependent upon the scope of the work.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Residential Roof Covering CSL<\/strong><br \/>\nCovers installation, alteration, repair or removal of residential roof coverings or roofs of buildings of any use group that contain less than 35,000 cubic feet of enclosed space and\/or buildings or structures for agricultural use.\u00a0 A Residential Roof Covering Construction Supervisor is not authorized to work on or supervise work related to the structural elements of a residential roof, including sheathing.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Residential Window and Siding CSL<\/strong><br \/>\nCovers installation, alteration, repair or removal of residential windows and siding as defined by the applicable codes.\u00a0 A Residential Window and Siding Construction Supervisor in not authorized to work on or supervise the work relating to any structure elements of a residential building, except as incidentally related to the installation of windows and siding.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Residential Solid Fuel Burning Appliance CSL<\/strong><br \/>\nCovers installation of solid fuel burning appliances.\u00a0 A Residential Solid Fuel Burning Appliance Installer CSL does not allow the licensee to work on or supervise work relating to any structural elements of a residential building.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Demolition CSL<\/strong><br \/>\nCovers demolition or removal of any commercial building of less than 35,000 cubic feet of aggregate volume and single and two-family dwelling buildings and accessory structures as defined by the code.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Types Of Construction Supervisor Licenses Unrestricted Construction Supervisors License (CSL) Covers construction, reconstruction, alteration, repair, removal, or demolition involving any activity regulated by the code for: 1. 35,000 cubic foot enclosed spaces. 2.
